A long time ago, when it was all just starting out for us in our new atelier next to river Schelde ( around February 2017 ) - we were sketching and drawing the first version of the production design for De Gebroeders Schimm aka The Ghastly Brothers by De Gebroeders Van Ostade. I was designing creatures based on my aunty's obese mops Adachka and Samuel was sketching the 'handmade' props from one of the characters. Highly pregnant, stressed about the future, hoping to re-invent the wheel over and over again - yet we still had fun and were so exited to begin on such adventure!
I think we took only some of these ideas when we actually started to work on the film two years later.
